Who we are

What we collect and why

When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, email address, town, the service you are interested in and any notes or photographs you choose to send. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange surveys and provide quotations — our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to your request.

If you tick the separate marketing checkbox we may also send occasional updates about our services — our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing info@namis.co.uk.

Where your data goes

Enquiries are delivered to our email inbox and stored in our customer relationship system. Photographs you attach are sent to us by email and are not stored on this website's servers. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

When you first visit this website we ask for your cookie choice. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose which categories to allow. Your choice is stored on your device and lasts 12 months, after which we ask again. You can change or withdraw it at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.

Essential (always on). We store your cookie choice on your device, and we use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our enquiry form from spam. These are needed for the site to work securely and do not require consent.

Analytics (only if you accept). We use Google Analytics, which sets the cookies _ga and _ga_ followed by our measurement ID, lasting up to two years. They show us how the site is used — pages viewed, time on site, device type and approximate location — so we can improve it. We use this information in aggregate and do not use it to identify you. Google may process this data outside the UK under approved safeguards, and we keep analytics data for a limited period, no longer than 14 months. Our lawful basis is your consent.

Privacy-friendly visit counting. We also use Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not collect personal data, to count visits.

Embedded maps and videos. Google Maps and YouTube videos load only when you click to activate them. When you do, Google or YouTube may set their own cookies, as described in their privacy policies. Videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and the small preview image for a video is fetched from YouTube’s servers when the page loads, which does not set cookies.

How long we keep enquiry data

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond, quote and deliver any resulting work, and for our legal and warranty obligations afterwards (typically six years for contractual records).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact info@namis.co.uk to exercise any of these rights, and you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with our response.
